It's not what you know, but who you know!

This picture was given to Pastor Ben by Janet (Jan) and Jim Armbruster when he was commissioned to be an Elder in the United Methodist Church in June 2015. Jan and Jim were friends of The Shaeffer's and have since gone home to be with the Lord. Here is the note on the back of picture.

Congratulations Ben and Kayce.

May you enjoy my photo and always remember the Path God has given you.

Hugs and Love

Jan and Jim

Words For Thought: (Psalm 139:23&24)

Examine me, God! Look at my heart! Put me to the test! Know my anxious thoughts! Look to see if there is any idolatrous way[f] in me,

then lead me on the eternal path!

Pray:

Heavenly Father, what joy it is to know that You know everything about me. Even the things that I do wrong can never separate me from Your unfailing love. Help me to live out this truth in my life, and may I do only those things that are pleasing in Your sight. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

Read: Psalm 139

Apply:

· How well does God know you on a scale of 1-10?

· How well do you know God on a scale of 1-10?

· Reflect on some ways that you can get to know God better.

· What does today’s message “It’s not what you know, it’s who you

know!” mean to you?

· What is “The Eternal Path?”

· Write a prayer in your own words and ask God to search your

heart and lead you on the eternal path.

Yield: Knowing God yields a life filled with faith, hope, joy, and love! Our relationships will be stronger when we love God and love others.
