REVERSE ADVENT CALENDAR
Our church has an ongoing ministry of food collection for Haywood Christian Ministries. To provide an increased emphasize on this important outreach during the Advent and Christmas season we are encouraging you to Involve your children, family, and friends in the best gift of all…giving to others who really need it, with the food bank reverse advent calendar.
To make it easy, we’ve created a giving countdown…a reverse advent calendar. It’s simple…for every day of December up until Christmas Eve, gather purchase the food item from the list and donate it to a Haywood Christian Ministries. You can bring the items you have collected each week during Advent to church on Sunday and place your food items under the Christmas tree at the beginning of the Worship Service. We will gather the food and take it to Haywood Christian Ministries shortly after Christmas.
